Tennessee
If you are a hazardous waste – or nonhazardous waste – producing business operating in Tennessee, Clean Management Environmental Group, Inc. has waste disposal experts who can assist with the waste management process. Our organization of waste management experts prioritizes efficient, compliant, and safe local service. Because we have a vast network of service providers throughout Tennessee, we are able to provide training, waste disposal, and other waste management services anywhere in the state.
Waste management in the state of Tennessee is governed by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC). With the EPA’s approval, Tennessee’s DEC has been authorized to carry out the hazardous waste management provisions of the RCRA, enforce those laws, and create its own laws regarding hazardous and nonhazardous waste management. Before these state-specific laws can be enacted, the DEC must first show that the proposed laws are at least as stringent as those at the federal level and these laws must receive EPA approval.
Due to the industries present in Tennessee, the state has some waste management needs that are emphasized more than others:
OSHA-compliant training:
Manufacturing of transportation equipment and chemicals factors heavily into Tennessee’s economy. To keep workers in these industries safe, Clean Management offers OSHA-compliant training courses.
Meth lab response and disposal:
Clean Management has received EPA approval to clean and decontaminate meth labs in Tennessee.
