What types of industrial wastewater will the facility accept?
The facility is being designed primarily for approved wastewater generated by metal finishing and related industrial processes. Other compatible industrial wastewater may be considered following analytical review, profiling and treatment testing.
Can the facility treat wastewater containing heavy metals?
Yes. The planned treatment system is specifically designed to use pH adjustment, chemical precipitation, coagulation, polymer addition and clarification to remove heavy metals and suspended solids from approved wastewater.
How much wastewater can the facility treat?
The planned system is designed to treat up to 80,000 gallons of categorical industrial wastewater during an eight-hour operating day. Actual availability will depend on wastewater characteristics, treatment time, existing schedules and facility approval.
Does the facility accept wastewater delivered by tanker truck?
Yes. Approved wastewater will be delivered by truck and transferred through a dedicated unloading and screening system.
Is laboratory analysis required?
Customers should provide a recent laboratory analysis and completed waste profile. Additional sampling, testing or jar testing may be required before approval or treatment.
